Microblading in Bangalore – Natural, Hair-Stroke Eyebrow Treatment in HRBR Layout

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique that deposits pigment into the upper layers of the skin in fine, hair-like strokes — filling in sparse or over-plucked eyebrows with a result that reads as real brow hair, not drawn-on makeup.

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique that uses a hand tool tipped with a cluster of fine needles to deposit pigment into the upper layers of the skin in short, hair-like strokes. Unlike traditional eyebrow tattooing, which uses a single needle and solid colour, each microblading stroke is drawn individually to mimic the direction and texture of real brow hair.

The result fills in sparse patches, redefines a faded shape, or rebuilds brows lost to over-plucking — without looking like painted-on makeup. Because the pigment sits in the upper dermis rather than deeper skin layers, it fades gradually over time instead of staying permanent.

At PRALASH, every microblading session starts with a brow-mapping consultation — measuring your face shape and existing brow line before a single stroke is drawn, so the shape is agreed with you first, not decided under the numbing cream.

How Microblading Works

Each microblading session at PRALASH follows a structured protocol for a natural, symmetric result.

1
Brow Mapping & Consultation

Measuring face shape, symmetry and your preferred shape; the outline is drawn and approved before any pigment goes in.

2
Numbing Cream Application

Topical numbing cream applied for 20–30 minutes so strokes are placed with minimal discomfort.

3
Hair-Stroke Blading

Fine, hand-drawn strokes placed one at a time in the direction of natural hair growth using a sterile, single-use microblade.

4
Pigment Selection & Layering

Pigment matched to your natural hair colour and skin undertone, built up gradually rather than applied all at once.

5
Aftercare Guidance

Detailed healing instructions for the following 7–10 days to protect strokes while they settle and heal.

How microblading works - eyebrow treatment process in Bangalore

Types of Microblading Treatments

Prefer a softer, fully filled-in look, or have oily skin that fades hair-strokes faster? Our Semi-Permanent Makeup page covers powder and ombré brow shading as well.

Hair-Stroke Microblading

Classic fine, hand-drawn strokes that mimic natural brow hair — best suited to normal to dry skin.

Nano Brows

An even finer nano-needle variation of the same hair-stroke technique, often used for delicate or sensitive skin.

Combo Brows

Hair strokes at the front of the brow blending into soft powder shading toward the tail — natural to defined in one sitting.

Touch-Up / Colour Refresh

A lighter refresher session for existing microblading that has started to fade, restoring shape without starting over.

Benefits of Microblading

Patients who get microblading done at our Bangalore clinic experience:

Fuller-looking eyebrows that fill in sparse or patchy areas naturally

Time saved from filling in brows with makeup every day

Corrected asymmetry and a redefined, more balanced brow shape

Smudge-proof, sweat-proof results once fully healed

Strokes that mimic real hair, not a solid block of colour

Semi-permanent — fades gradually instead of committing forever

Who is it Suitable For?

Microblading is ideal for people with:

  • Sparse, thin or patchy natural eyebrows
  • Eyebrows over-plucked or over-waxed over the years
  • Asymmetrical or uneven natural brow shape
  • Anyone who fills in their brows with makeup daily
  • Normal to dry skin types, for the best stroke retention
  • Scarring or gaps from previous brow hair loss
Microblading isn't recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for very oily or acne-prone skin in the brow area, on keloid-prone skin, or if you're on blood thinners or isotretinoin. Our specialist assesses suitability at consultation.

Why Choose Our Clinic in Bangalore?

Microblading results depend almost entirely on the artist's hand — stroke direction, spacing and pigment choice are hard to correct once healed. At PRALASH, microblading is performed by a trained permanent makeup specialist who maps your brows before drawing a single stroke, using sterile, single-use blades and pigments checked for authenticity.

Results Timeline

Immediately After

Strokes appear bold and slightly dark — this is normal and not the final colour.

5–7 Days

Light scabbing and flaking as the skin heals; strokes can look patchy during this phase.

4–6 Weeks

Healed colour settles to its true, softer tone; a touch-up session refines any faded strokes.

12–18 Months

Results last before a colour refresh is needed to maintain definition.

Safety & Side Effects

Microblading is a low-risk procedure when done with sterile tools. Common temporary effects include:

Mild Redness & Swelling — normal for the first day, similar to a light scratch.
Scabbing & Flaking — expected during the 5–7 day healing window; picking at it can pull out pigment.
Temporary Darkness — strokes look 30–50% darker than the healed result for the first week.
All microblading tools and blades at PRALASH are sterile and single-use, and pigments are checked for authenticity before every session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Numbing cream is applied before the first stroke, so most patients feel light scratching or pressure rather than pain. Some sensitivity is normal toward the end of a longer session as the numbing wears off.

Typically 12 to 18 months before a colour refresh is needed. Oily skin, frequent sun exposure and certain skincare acids used near the brow area can fade strokes faster.

Two — the initial session, followed by a touch-up 4 to 6 weeks later to fill in any strokes that healed lighter than expected. Skipping the touch-up is the most common reason results look patchy.

Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, on blood thinners or isotretinoin, prone to keloid scarring, or with very oily or acne-prone skin in the brow area should either wait or consider powder brows instead — this gets assessed honestly at consultation.

Microblading gives a hair-stroke, natural look and suits normal to dry skin best. Powder brows give a softer, fully filled look that holds up better on oily skin and lasts slightly longer. Our specialist will tell you which suits your skin type rather than which is easier to sell.
