Gentle pediatric root canal treatment at PRALASH Dermystique & Dentique, HRBR Layout. Save your child's infected baby tooth and stop the pain for good.
A pulpectomy is the complete removal of infected pulp tissue from a baby tooth — both the crown and the root canals — often described as a "baby root canal." It is performed when infection has progressed beyond the crown and into the root pulp itself.
By thoroughly cleaning and sealing the infected canals, a pulpectomy relieves pain, eliminates infection and preserves the tooth so it can continue functioning until it is naturally replaced by the permanent tooth.
We assess the extent of infection in the crown and root canals to confirm pulpectomy is needed.
The tooth and surrounding gum are gently numbed using child-appropriate anaesthesia techniques.
Infected pulp tissue is removed from the crown and each root canal, and the canals are cleaned.
The cleaned canals are filled with a resorbable, child-safe material suited for baby teeth.
A stainless steel or tooth-coloured crown restores strength and protects the tooth long-term.
Performed when the pulp is inflamed but still has blood supply — typically less complex to treat.
Performed when the pulp has died from infection — requires thorough disinfection of the canals.
Completed in one appointment for straightforward cases without heavy infection.
Used for more infected cases, with a medicated dressing placed between visits to fully resolve infection.
Cost varies based on infection severity and whether a crown is required.
