At PRALASH Dermystique & Dentique, HRBR Layout, CAD/CAM technology designs and mills crowns, veneers and restorations digitally — often completed in a single visit, without a temporary crown.
CAD/CAM stands for Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing. Your tooth is digitally scanned, the restoration is designed on-screen to fit precisely, and a milling machine carves it from a solid block of tooth-coloured ceramic — often while you wait.
It starts with the same intra-oral scan used across our digital treatments, and pairs naturally with our Dental Veneers and Cosmetic Dentistry treatments.
The tooth is gently shaped to make room for the restoration, under local anaesthesia if needed.
An intra-oral scanner captures a precise 3D model of the prepared tooth and its surroundings.
The crown, veneer or inlay is designed digitally to match your bite and neighbouring teeth.
A milling machine carves the design from a solid ceramic block, typically in 15–20 minutes.
The milled restoration is tried in and adjusted for fit, shape and bite before bonding.
The finished restoration is permanently bonded in place — no temporary crown, no second visit.
Full-coverage restorations for a broken, weakened or heavily filled tooth, milled to fit precisely.
Partial-coverage restorations for chips, cracks or worn areas, preserving more natural tooth structure.
Scan, design, mill and bond completed in a single appointment for suitable single-tooth cases.
Bridges and larger cases are designed chairside but milled at a specialised lab for extra strength.
Many crowns are designed, milled and bonded in a single appointment.
Skip the temporary restoration and the risk of it coming loose between visits.
The design is checked on screen before milling, reducing adjustment time in your mouth.
Milled from solid ceramic blocks for durability and a natural appearance.
The process starts with a comfortable digital scan instead of a tray of impression material.
CAD/CAM restorations are a good fit if you have:
Price is comparable to traditional lab-made restorations. A written estimate follows your assessment.
Full-coverage ceramic crown, digitally designed and milled in-office.
Priced once the specific tooth and material choice are confirmed at assessment.
In-office milling means many crowns are completed the same day you're prepared for one.
Every restoration is designed on-screen from your intra-oral scan for an accurate fit.
Ceramic blocks in a range of shades are selected to blend with your existing teeth.
Easy to reach from HRBR Layout, Kalyan Nagar and Kammanahalli for a same-day appointment.
